The Department of Engineering Technology is in the business of graduating problem solvers and decision makers for local, regional and national industry.  Engineering Technology is designated as an Area of Excellence by the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Engineering Technology prepares Electronics Engineering Technologists and Industrial Engineering Technologists for entry into the high technology job market of tomorrow where Technologists work closely with engineers to design, install, and maintain the complex systems used in industry today.
